Our Philosophy

As a consumer, you have many choices available to you regarding chiropractic. Regardless of who you ultimately choose, I would strongly recommend that you investigate chiropractic because it is a very safe, effective way to improve your overall health and that of your family.

As a result of taking care of people for over 25 years, I have seen many wonderful health changes occur in individuals that have suffered with a multitude of problems. Many times they were under the impression that there was no help available to them outside of conventional medical treatment. They were not aware of the outstanding benefits provided by modern chiropractic care.

I offer this “Our Philosophy” section to explain my perspective. First let me tell you that my mission statement is right on the wall of our reception area for all to see. It reads:

“My mission is to help as many people as I can during my lifetime…especially children.”

That in it self should tell you a little about where I stand regarding my commitment to improving the health of our community. Now, by no means do I focus solely on children. I have a diverse practice that encompasses all ages and stages of life. However, I have a particular fondness for assisting “the little ones” while they grow and blossom to their fullest potential. They are our future and deserve the opportunity to grow and develop as they should. All children need the ability to grow mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. My role regarding children, as I see it, is to assist in providing the maximum opportunity for their nervous system to function appropriately so that they grow, learn and mature.

Over the years, I have found that there are two general types of Chiropractic physicians. The first are primarily concerned with back and neck pain. Their treatment goals are designed to primarily address these matters. Their recommendations are primarily to control the symptom, whether it is headaches, back pain, leg pain, etc. These doctors provide a valuable service. They primarily provide short term intervention therapy.

The second, more traditional chiropractor looks at the whole person in detail. This is the way I was schooled. They don’t view their patient as a “back pain” or “neck pain” case. They view the patient as a whole individual that usually has many other issues going on. Issues like: asthma, acid reflux, migraines/headaches, bowel irregularity, bladder/bowel control issues, menstrual cycle problems, blood pressure irregularity, fibromyalgia , attention and focus issues, vertigo etc.

The traditional chiropractor will make a recommendation that will address the “back pain” issue, but in addition, look to correct the underlying spinal problems (subluxations) that may be contributing or causing the additional health problems.
This is a holistic approach that involves a greater commitment by the doctor and the patient. It takes more work and time to achieve the real changes that allow for a greater ability to enjoy life and live it to the fullest.  This is the type of practice we have.

If you are concerned about your health and are willing to work towards real change… I look forward to meeting you and working together with you to help achieve your goals. I have wonderful staff here to assist you as well. We look at our practice as a family. That will be obvious to by the way we relate to one another in our office.

So I hope that we’re a good fit for you. Whatever your decision… explore chiropractic. It is a wonderful healing art. I’m honored to be a Chiropractor and to have the opportunity to help others.
